Chelsea managed to beat Sunderland 1-0 in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (01/14/2012). This is the first home victory of Chelsea last three. Earlier, Aston Villa 1-3 Chelsea bent and held Fulham 1-1.

Chelsea coach Andre Villas-Boas rely on the duo Fernando Torres and Frank Lampard in this game. Thanks to the duo the game, Chelsea's capable of winning first in the 13th minute. Lampard managed to break into the Sunderland goal after maximizing bait Torres.

Just three minutes later, Sunderland almost scored a goal back through the action of Nicklas Bendtner. Luckily goalkeeper Petr Cech had foiled Bendtner's header that utilizes Sebastian Larsson's cross.

Lampard almost doubled the lead his team if only Simon Mignolet not readily dispels England midfielder's shot in the 18th minute.
